Foodie Friday: Cucumber and Lemon Detox Water

Literally everybody I know is sick this week with either a stomach bug, the flu or a cold. I thought it would be an appropriate time to post one of my new favorite drinks. 
This Cucumber + Lemon Detox Water is refreshing, delicious and helps to cleanse your system. It’s also only three ingredients, so it’s super easy to make and store in the fridge!

Step 1: Slice 2 lemons and 1/2 of a cucumber and mix together in a large pitcher. 
Step 2: Pour in enough water to just about fill up the pitcher. 
 Step 3: Stir the mixture well and add ice and fresh mint (optional). Cover the top of the pitcher with plastic wrap and let the water soak up the flavors for a few hours in the fridge. Note: the longer you let it sit, the more flavorful the water will be.
